On July 28, 2026, Hiroyasu Inoue gave a poster presentation at the Asahi Glass Foundation’s 2026 Seminar on Grant-Supported Research Findings at Hotel Grand Hill Ichigaya in Tokyo.
The presentation was titled “Simulations on Large-scale Firm-trade Networks to Study Resilience under Pandemic.” Supported by the foundation, the study uses simulations of interfirm transaction networks to examine economic resilience to pandemic-related disruption. It focuses on how effects spread through connections between firms, providing a basis for thinking about the resilience of the wider economy.
