An NHK special broadcast on March 5th, 2023 featured our estimate of real economy losses along the lines of a “half-crack” that would be caused by two separate Nankai Trough earthquakes. 南海トラフ巨大地震 第2部 “最悪のシナリオ”にどう備えるか – NHKスペシャルドラマのシナリオを監修した福和伸夫・名古屋大学名誉教授をゲストに迎え、ドラマの出演者と共に、南海トラフ巨大地震への備えを考える。「都市を襲う津波からどう逃げるか」「避難に猶予がない地域でどう命をつなぐか」「長期の避難生活をどう乗り切るか」「企業活動の継続に必要な備えとは」など、対策の現場のルポとともに、スタジオでの解説を交えながら、「日常に防災を取り入れる」ことの大切さと実践のヒントを提示する。
